Director of Streets and Environment (Full Time)

This is an exciting time to be joining Croydon. Under our current political and officer leadership, a huge amount has been achieved as we move towards a more sustainable and prosperous future for our residents and businesses. Our transformation programme and the development of our new target operating model are well underway, and we have made significant progress in laying the foundations of a financially stable future.

Now that we have put the conditions in place for our future prosperity, there is a huge amount of work to do to finish the job.

As our new Director of Streets and Environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the frontline services our residents and businesses rely on are delivered to the standard they expect at a price we can afford. You will build and maintain operational grip across both insourced and outsourced services, alongside managing key service contracts. You will play a lead role in embedding our council-wide transformation programme, championing our new target operating model, the core of which is digital first.
