Specific Duties and Responsibilities- Lead strategic development, delivery, and quality enhancement of the Phase 1 core curriculum (Years 1 & 2) for the MB BS programme at HYMS.
- Provide direct leadership and management for academic staff involved in the delivery of Problem Based Learning and Clinical Skills (Clinical Educational Facilitators).
- Ensure alignment, delivery, and assessment of the Phase 1 MB BS PBL and Clinical Skills curriculum in line with Phase 1 and the wider MB BS programme and with PSRB requirements.
- Collaborate across both university sites.
- Line manage Local Deputy Directors of PBL in Hull and York (0.2FTE each).
- Maintain clinical activity of at least 0.2FTE in addition to the role's 0.5FTE.
- Provide cover for absent tutors as needed.
- Support key school activities such as Open Days and MBBS Interviews.
