Salary £95k - £110k
Cranstoun provides services for adults and young people who need support around alcohol and other drugs, domestic abuse, housing and criminal justice. Our job is to make people feel safe and to empower them with the tools to create lasting change and reduce harm.
The People & Culture team plays a vital role in Cranstoun's success. Our colleagues deliver critical, complex and impactful services every day, supporting people across the UK. In return, we are committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported, included and empowered to grow.
As Director of People & Culture, you will lead the development of a people strategy and employee experience that enables our individual colleagues, and their teams and the people who use our services to thrive. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll lead the development of the culture, leadership and organisational capability that enables our colleagues to deliver life-changing services every day. Working closely with the CEO, fellow members of the Senior Leadership Team and Board, you'll help shape organisational strategy and ensure people, culture and organisational effectiveness are central to future success.
Already working at Director level (or equivalent), you will bring a proven, substantial leadership track record. We're interested in hearing from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences who can demonstrate strategic acumen, sound judgement and the ability to lead change effectively. Experience in safeguarding and governance at a strategic level is a priority focus for us, as is experience of leading people and culture functions in complex, multi-service and multi-site organisations. However, we recognise that no candidate will meet every requirement. If your experience is transferable and you're excited by the opportunity to contribute to Cranstoun's mission, we'd love to hear from you.
Closing date: 1st November2026.
