Director of National Oversight & Learning (Scotland)

The Scottish Government seeks a visionary Head of the National Oversight Mechanism (NOM) to shape its design, operating model and function, ensuring independence and credible learning to improve the prison system in Scotland.

The NOM will be hosted within HM Inspectorate of Prisons for Scotland (HMIPS) and will work closely with Ministers, justice and health organisations, scrutiny bodies, and families to deliver meaningful system-wide improvements.
