The ideal candidate will have a proven background in estates or facilities management within multi-site environments, ideally in education, and will be qualified (NEBOSH or IOSH) with strong expertise in compliance frameworks, fire safety, and risk management. The Role:
  • Lead and deliver the school's Estates Masterplan across multiple sites.
  • Manage and develop the Estates and FM team, supporting staff to reach their full potential.
  • Oversee all hard and soft services, supplier relationships, and external contracts to ensure value and performance.
  • Drive space planning, capital projects, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance, resilience, and safety across all systems.
  • Act as the key estates advisor in strategic discussions with Governors and Senior Leaders.
The Person:
  • Extensive experience in estates or facilities management in multi-site environments, ideally in education.
  • Qualified (NEBOSH or IOSH) with strong knowledge of compliance, fire safety, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
