Director of AI Engineering - Hands on - Remote - Outside IR35 - AI/ML - Python - AWS - LLM - PHD

My client has an urgent need for a Director of AI Engineering; this is very much a hands-on role but someone who has previous experience working in a lead/architecture position.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have -

• An extensive background in applied machine learning with a focus on deep learning, NLP and generative AI.
• Successfully delivered large-scale AI projects.
• Experience designing and implementing novel AI architectures or algorithms in real-world products.
• Excellent experience with Python and advanced ML/LLM frameworks.
• Expertise implementing LLM-based systems and agent architecture
• Experience of API design principles.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts and frameworks.
• Typescript & AWS CDK.
• CI/CD
• AWS Services.
