Director Full Stack Engineering

We're working with a US financial services company to bring an important Director of Full Stack Engineering into the business.

You'll collaborate with all parts of the business in respect to the portfolio of digital offerings. You'll build, test and deliver products and features that add to the high quality digital experiences.

Strategy & Planning

Collaborate with colleagues within architecture, engineering and product leadership on technical strategy.

Roadmap ownership and alignment with technically driven initiatives.

Responsible for transforming strategy into business operations, ensuring stability, engineering best practices and address EOL technologies.

Coaching & Mentoring

Mentor engineering teams and act as the bridge between product and architecture.

Develop team players to become best in class tech leads via coaching and mentoring.

Act as the authority on solutions and standards.

Hands-on Engineering

Keeping pace with industry standards, shaping guidelines and ensures the team are up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Cross BU project work that requires technical leadership and guidance.

Your Skills

8 + years full stack development and delivery

Deep knowledge of Java, Angular, and Springboot in a commercial environment

Prior experience with building high volume transaction applications

Delivered responsive front end applications with typescript, angular and/or node

Adept at delivering service oriented applications using java, springboot and camel

A natural born critical thinker, leader, coach and mentor.
