Learn more at .We are currently looking for a Director Cost Controlling (m/f/w) for the front-end fab operations. Position Overview: We are seeking an analytical and experience Front-End Cost Controller to join our team. This role is critical in managing and optimizing manufacturing costs associated with front-end semiconductor fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with the operations, engineering, and finance teams of the three semiconductor divisions (MOSFETs, Diodes, and Optoelectronic Components) to ensure cost transparency, drive efficiency and inter-divisional coordination, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Cost Monitoring & Analysis: + Track and analyze front-end manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, equipment usage, and overhead. + Identify cost variances and provide root cause analysis with actionable insights. Budgeting & Forecasting: + Support the preparation of forecasts / budgets and longer-term strategic financial plans for the semiconductor front-end operations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals. Reporting & KPIs: + Develop and maintain cost dashboards and performance indicators. + Provide regular reports to management on cost trends, efficiency metrics, and cost-saving opportunities. Process Improvement: + Partner with engineering and production teams to identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives. + Evaluate the financial impact of process changes, yield improvements, and capacity expansions. Inventory & Asset Control: + Monitor inventory levels and valuation for raw materials and WIP (work-in-progress). + Ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation of front-end equipment. Compliance & Controls: + Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies. + Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting and manufacturing operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's or CPA/CMA is a plus). 5+ years of experience in cost control, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of front-end semiconductor processes and cost drivers. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of semiconductor industry cost structures and market dynamics. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
