Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Director - Senior Sales Manager Private Markets within the Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London.
This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues to meet sales targets. Target clients include Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction, as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.
Key responsibilities
- Meet annual sales targets
- Develop a strategic calling plan for a defined target universe by building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Create and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline through active client interactions, including meetings and presentations, aiming for 100 client interactions per year
- Develop and update a sales strategy document
- Collaborate with business lines and product teams to define and execute innovative solutions and messaging
- Position the firm ahead of RFPs with compelling value propositions
- Coordinate with SMEs, RFP team, and management to deliver high-quality, differentiating RFP responses and sales documents
- Enhance the firm's profile in the Private Markets segment via industry and media participation
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to promote the firm's Private Markets capabilities
- Work with internal teams to stay updated on bank products and services, ensuring segment needs are met promptly
- Adhere to internal and external policies regarding sales conduct
- Maintain close collaboration with FIC on mutual prospects
The Successful Candidate
Ideal candidate profile:
- Proven experience in financial services and the firm's industry
- Understanding of the global alternatives sector, including Liquid Hedge and illiquid Private Assets
- Strong sales record in Private Markets
- Leadership skills and ability to influence global stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience leading complex deals
- Established market reputation
- Ability to operate in complex, transversal environments
- Demonstrated adherence to management principles: people care, client focus, risk awareness, leadership, and innovation
