Director - Rural Land Management
Inverness Permanent Full-Time

Overview:
A leading property consultancy is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join their Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Inverness/North Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior role managing a diverse portfolio of rural estates and assets, while working alongside specialists in residential, farming, forestry, natural capital, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead asset management for a major estate client, collaborating closely with senior leadership.
  • Oversee a wide range of rural assets including let farms and residential properties, supported by internal teams across administration, surveying, farming, and environmental services.
  • Conduct rent reviews, lease negotiations, dispute resolution, and manage repair and improvement programmes.
  • Ensure delivery of client objectives and compliance with internal standards.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business and expand client services.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience managing rural assets, particularly let farms and residential properties.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Capable of working under pressure and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to enhance business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree (undergraduate or postgraduate).
  • MRICS qualified (Rural pathway) with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
  • CAAV/SAAVA membership is advantageous.
