Construction Transformation Lead

We're looking for an exceptional Construction Transformation Lead to drive the transformation of our Commercial and Delivery business-from strategy and inception, through to Go Live and benefit realisation of major initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will help the Capability team achieve its £350m efficiency target by identifying opportunities where Digital Transformation and AI can unlock measurable cost savings and operational improvements.

The successful candidate will build and maintain a positive team culture that supports personal development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall accountability for delivering the transformation of the Commercial and Delivery business, ensuring projects are completed on time and that cost benefits are realised from discovery and design through implementation and benefit realisation.
• Demonstrate commercial and construction expertise to identify new transformation opportunities.
• Provide programme leadership to ensure the successful delivery of the Transformation portfolio, aligning outcomes with business priorities.
• Oversee full end to end delivery of new transformation and change initiatives at programme level-from discovery and design through to implementation and benefit realisation.
• Act as an innovative thought leader, working with Strategy Leads and Business Leads across all directorates to drive transformational change and promote organisation wide collaboration.
• Build and maintain a high performing team through clear goal setting, regular feedback, and effective performance management.
• Quantify and clearly communicate technology programme benefits to senior leadership, securing buy in and shaping future investment decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership of technology transformation programmes within the Engineering/Construction sector, with experience building innovative solutions and delivering successful outcomes.
• Leadership experience in a fast paced startup environment is advantageous.
• Strong commercial and construction expertise to identify new opportunities for transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A positive, caring attitude and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
