Job Description
- Design, deliver, and scale production-grade agentic AI systems across Pfizer's manufacturing network
- Lead definition and delivery of agentic AI experiences, including use cases, behaviours, user experiences, and success criteria
- Partner with engineers, data scientists, architects, manufacturing sites, Digital Manufacturing, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Quality, and business stakeholders
- Rapidly prototype and mock agent experiences with customers and manufacturing SMEs
- Co-own agent evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop oversight models
- Transform manufacturing knowledge and SME expertise into reusable, scalable intelligence assets
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for agentic capabilities and the Digital Operations Centre
- Apply customer discovery, product visioning, journey mapping, experimentation, backlog management, and value realization
- Act as the voice of the customer and ensure products address meaningful manufacturing challenges
- Lead co-creation workshops, discovery activities, pilot programmes, demonstrations, and feedback cycles
- Develop and execute adoption strategies to maximise utilisation, engagement, and business impact
- Own manufacturing agent lifecycles from concept through deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Define value propositions, success metrics, and adoption strategies for capability releases
- Establish governance frameworks for AI and agentic product development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Ensure alignment with Pfizer requirements for Responsible AI, cybersecurity, data governance, quality, validation, and compliance
- Define processes for evaluation, performance monitoring, change management, human oversight, and risk management
- Define product success metrics and value-realisation frameworks
- Measure impact on knowledge accessibility, colleague productivity, decision quality, operational performance, and IMEx maturity
- Identify opportunities to scale successful capabilities across manufacturing sites and business units
- Champion transformation of manufacturing digital products into intelligent digital teammates
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in manufacturing or regulated operations environments, such as pharma/biotech or medical devices
- Working knowledge of manufacturing digital systems, including MES, historians, and LIMS, and integration patterns
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development
- Strong product and project management skills, including roadmaps, priorities, budgets, stakeholders, and end-to-end outcomes across business and IT/OT
- Experience defining and delivering AI-enabled products, such as copilots, decision support, or agents
- Experience translating user needs into requirements and measurable outcomes
- Experience operating within formal quality systems and change control
- Strong documentation discipline
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence site leadership and global partners
- Entrepreneurial approach, bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and track record of taking ideas from concept through pilot to adoption
- Preferred: Hons Degree or equivalent advanced qualification
- Preferred: Hands-on use of AI and agentic tools to mock designs, prototype agent experiences, and co-create solutions
- Preferred: Deep OT/automation expertise, including SCADA, historians, serialization, and plant connectivity
- Preferred: Validated system delivery, computer system validation (CSV), and assurance practices
- Preferred: Cloud data platforms and advanced analytics/AI in manufacturing
- Preferred: PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent practice
- Preferred: Global, multi-site program leadership and standardization/common-platform experience
- Preferred: Financial management, vendor governance, forecasting, and chargeback/showback models
- Preferred: AI solution delivery and operations, including MLOps/LLMOps and/or agentic AI orchestration
- Preferred: Responsible AI practices, including risk assessments, bias/robustness testing, human oversight, and documentation
- For Ireland applications, must be legally eligible to work in Ireland
Demonstrates expertise in designing and delivering agentic AI systems within manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on product management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Proven ability to translate user needs into actionable product strategies and measurable outcomes.
