Digital Marketing Executive - Work Avenue

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our team in this office-based role. This is a fast paced and varied position, ideal for someone with previous marketing experience who has a strong understanding of social media, a creative eye for design, and excellent content creation skills. The role will include managing our website, coordinating our WhatsApp group, and maintaining an active and engaging presence across our social media channels particularly LinkedIn, where you'll be the face of Work Avenue online. A good knowledge of the Jewish community and its networks would be a real advantage, as you'll play a key part in ensuring our communications reflect and connect with our audience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a creative and engaging social media strategy of current and new campaigns to promote Work Avenue (in conjunction with Head of Marketing) and grow the organisation's social media presence and impact.
  • Manage the day to day handling of all social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using a scheduling tool (Buffer). Monitor and respond to social media posts and initiate discussion around relevant topics.
  • Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms, adapting content to suit different digital channels.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with relevant influencers across the various social media platforms.
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on the organisation's performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity. Recommend improvements to increase performance and client engagement.
  • Responsible for ongoing management and maintenance of Work Avenue website using WordPress. Includes liaison with external web developers as required.
  • Manage a budget for social media activities.
  • Graphic design for online and print marketing collateral.
Person Specification
  • Experience of designing and delivering digital marketing strategy with a proven ability to grow an organisation/business's online presence.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media channels, and ability to research/post suitable content for each channel.
  • Able to maintain up to date knowledge of social media trends and develop strategy accordingly.
  • Creative with experience using Canva and Campaign Monitor.
  • Experience of website management and/or strong technical skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Understanding of Work Avenue's target audiences and how to most effectively reach these audiences from a digital and design perspective.
  • Understanding of brand and messaging to create coherent and effective marketing collateral.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data to inform future marketing planning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
