Directorate: Resources
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Council House / Hybrid working
Salary: Band D - £32,597 to £37,280 per annum, incremental progression subject to performance

Do you enjoy working with data, solving problems and helping others make sense of information?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Analyst to play a key role in supporting information management, data quality and digital systems across Corporate Property Services (CPS).

This role sits at the heart of the service, ensuring that accurate, timely and well presented data is available to support operational teams, managers and external customers. You will be the main point of contact for CPS data and information, coordinating requests, producing reports and dashboards, and helping colleagues use information more effectively to support decision making.

You will also support service improvement by reviewing how data and digital systems are used, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and ensuring the maximisation of the digital tools we already have available, particularly within Microsoft 365. Working closely with CPS colleagues, IT teams and external partners, you will play a key role in testing and implementing system changes, improving data quality and building digital confidence across the service.

You will have:
  • An A Level or equivalent in IT or a relevant subject, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in information systems and/or information management
  • A good understanding of how information systems and digital technology support service delivery
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data to support decision making
  • Experience of producing reports, dashboards or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business needs
  • The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues with varying levels of digital confidence
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills

In return, you will be joining a supportive and collaborative service where your work will directly support better outcomes for both staff and customers. You will contribute to service improvement and play a key role in how Corporate Property Services uses data and technology now and in the future.

We also offer:
  • A range of flexible working options, including hybrid working and a flex time scheme
  • Generous annual leave, with the option to purchase up to 10 additional days per year
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme - a free, confidential 24 hour advice and support service
  • Family and carer friendly policies
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • A range of employee benefits, including staff discounts, subsidised travel passes and the Cycle 2 Work Scheme
