We're seeking an experience Digital Executive Producer to lead the delivery of high-profile children's content for YouTube. This is a short-term contract role, ideal for someone with a strong operational mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills and experience setting up new workflows in a fast-paced digital environment.

Main ResponsibilitiesYou'll be responsible for setting up the operational framework for a new digital development and commissioning area - defining ways of working, managing budgets, establishing workflows, and ensuring smooth delivery from development and commissioning through to publication. This role requires a confident leader who can drive projects, manage complex stakeholder relationships, negotiate contracts, manage digital rights, and ensure smooth delivery across all phases of production.
- Lead the delivery of digital commissions for BBC's YouTube channels; ensuring content is delivered on schedule, within budget, and meets editorial and compliance standards.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, freelancers, and partners, ensuring value for money and adherence to BBC policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. commissioning, legal, finance, marketing) and external partners (e.g. independent production companies, digitalplatforms).
- Oversee production planning, risk management, and resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Ensure all content is optimised for YouTube, with a clear understanding of platform strategy, audience behaviour, and performance metrics.
- Provide clear direction and support to teams, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality digital content.
- Monitor industry trends and platform developments to inform commissioning strategy and delivery planning.
- Proven experience in delivering entertainment digital content at scale, ideally for YouTube or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of production management, contracting, and compliance in a digital context.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and cost controls.
- A track record of leading teams to deliver under pressure, with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with digital rights, platform-specific requirements, and audience engagement strategies.
- Understanding of young audiences and the broadcast industry
