As Theirworld progresses through an ambitious five-year strategy, we're seeking a Digital Communications Manager to drive the continued growth and impact of our brands across our owned and earned digital channels - with a focus on social (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
You'll turn our content strategy into action: planning and publishing regular, high-quality content that helps us meet our strategic targets by 2028. A key part of the role is overseeing our brand advocacy work with social media influencers.
You'll report to the Director of Communications and be a creative, ambitious digital storyteller who wants to use their skills for impact as part of a global children's charity.
Main responsibilitiesThe Digital Communications Manager will:
- Own our brand social channels: Oversee and optimise all social media channels so they align with brand goals and are consistently managed. This includes daily, weekly and monthly planning and posting for Theirworld and the Global Business Coalition for Education. (Daily moderation support is in place.)
- Lead content creation & scheduling: Run a clear digital content strategy and busy posting schedule that grows priority audiences (ideally 18-24) in ways that are authentic and appropriate for each brand and platform.
- Measure what matters: We focus on a few core metrics that track real progress. You'll produce regular reports focused on these metrics, analyse insights and recommend adjustments to achieve growth objectives.
Be a brand guardian & innovator: Ensure everything we publish is on-brand and on-message. Continually test new formats, features and creative approaches to help us hit our goals.
Coordinate across the organisation: Work closely with internal teams to plan, package and distribute timely announcements and updates across relevant digital channels for projects, appeals and initiatives.
Connect the wider digital ecosystem: Ensure our social content links smoothly with other digital touchpoints, including web and email. Adapt content for use across platforms (e.g., web news posts, newsletters) and collaborate on simple landing pages or sign-up journeys when campaigns require them.

- Strong knowledge of Instagram (essential), TikTok and LinkedIn (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience managing digital communities and driving growth
Starting at £40,000+ based on qualifications and experience.
