Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. It features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs.
As a Dietician, you will approve menus, including modified diets, provide nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsel patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. You will monitor the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provide input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.

Position Summary
The Dietician approves menus including modified diets for Canyon Creek Behavioral Health, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years dietary experience in a health care facility, with concentration in nutritional assessment and planning preferred.
Licensure: Registration with the American Dietetic Association preferred and State licensure required.
