We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchised main dealer in Portsmouth, for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a well-established dealership with a strong focus on quality service and professional development.

- Basic salary up to £36,000 with an on-target earning (OTE) around £48,000
- Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30-17:30, with no weekend commitments

- Conduct vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs in accordance with brand standards
- Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and digital systems to identify faults efficiently
- Liaise directly with customers when required, providing clear advice and updates
- Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the workshop
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Attend training sessions to maintain and develop technical expertise
- Ensure compliance with all dealership processes and procedures as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- Relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience in a franchised dealership or similar environment
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to logically approach diagnostics and problem-solving
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with evolving vehicle technologies and manufacturer updates
- Full valid UK driving licence
