DevOps SME

Our client is looking for a DevOps SME with experience with OpenShift Virtualization on a six-month initial contract, working 2-3 days a week onsite in London or Sheffield. This role is Inside IR35.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium, JMeter, and Postman to ensure application quality and performance.
• Orchestrate and manage workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift using CLI tools.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines and workloads in OpenShift Virtualization (OCPV).
• Automate VM lifecycle operations (provisioning, scaling, migration, backup, and recovery) within OCPV.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate testing, deployment, and virtualization processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD, testing, container, and virtualization environments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices for both container and VM workloads.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
