You will be a focused individual capable of working with other technical experts and collaborating to affect a positive and appropriate outcome. Acutely familiar with, Microservice deployments, Docker, and Kubernetes, and able to contribute to the architecture & design of iProov's distributed infrastructure. As a public cloud-based operation utilising the three main cloud providers you will be competent in cloud technology operation as well as modern continuous deployment techniques.
We tend to look for people with:
Participate in the design and support of complex infrastructure utilizing IAC.
Provision Platforms and associated facilities.
Design, develop, test, optimize, & build solutions.
Troubleshoot platform issues, provide support, and respond to escalated tickets.
Ensure the security and integrity of the platform is maintained, improved, and documented
Help support compliance requirements and audit demands.
Advanced Kubernetes and Cloud experience (preferably) in GCP environments
Networking, VPC, VNET.
Experience with VMware and build of kubernetes over VMware
Compute, Storage, Access, Services and ancillary systems.
Terraform and/or familiarity with platform provisioning from code repositories.
Extensive Linux Command Line experience using tools such as, Curl, awk, dig, etc.
Microservice runtime environments, familiar with, code repositories, 5 versioning, CICD tools.
API, HTTP Web Services, authentication/authorization, troubleshooting knowledge.
Security, Access control, Certificates, tokens, and related techniques and implementation
Docker development environments and deployments
About you:
Work with project teams to evaluate objectives and timescales as required.
Operational experience including development of monitoring systems and dashboards
Understanding of essential metrics for effective reliability and operation of platforms.
Scripting / Bash
Pipeline and continuous integration/deployment experience
Operational environment familiarity, change control, compliance, privileged operations.
Helm deployments within Kubernetes
Jira, Github, and ticketing processes.
Basic Coding Experience / familiarity (python)
Experience with IDE Automation, AI Tooling (Cursor, Claude, Co-Pilot, Vertex, Gemini, etc) and Agentic AI / MCP experience as a plus.
