DevOps Engineer

Overview

Our client is an AI-native workspace initially designed for investment banking, private equity, consultancies, and asset managers. We are seeking an experiencedSenior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud systems as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth.
• Prepare infrastructure for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits, aligning with customer expectations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and data services to enable rapid, reliable releases.
• Drive product-wide systems for logging, metrics, tracing, alerting and on-call processes.
• Monitor and control cloud costs, identifying opportunities for optimization without sacrificing performance.
• Act as the internal advocate for operational excellence.

Requirements

• Technical stack: Azure (also AWS is a plus), Terraform, AKS (Kubernetes), Docker, Github actions.
• Networking: Solid understanding of VPCs, private networking, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Databases & Storage: Experience with provisioning, scaling, and managing production-grade databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and blob storage.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience 4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally includingstartup or high-growth/high load environments.
• Proven track record ofowning infrastructure end-to-end- from architecture through production support.

Salary

Flexible - they will pay what is needed for the right people who are prepared to work 5 days a week in the office from 9 am - 9 pm
