DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client in Zurich. This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion standardization and automation across infrastructure and application workflows
• Lead the onboarding of applications to a Cloud Native Stack
• Drive the integration of teams onto common platforms, especially around Observability
• Use your experience with microservices and distributed systems to shape scalable and resilient environments

Requirements:

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Solid Scripting skill with Bash and proficient working in Linux Environments
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes and distributed systems and with AKS
• Development background in at least one language, for example Java, python or Scala
• Proven architectural skills, including the ability to capture non-functional requirements and document system designs
• Familiarity with messaging and communication stacks like Kafka
• Experience with Observability tools such as Grafana, ElasticSearch or OpenTelemetry
