Job Description

Overview

Devops engineer required by our client, a leading communications and telecoms business. Based out of Newcastle, the Devops engineer will report directly into the Devops engineering manager.

Responsibilities

The Devops engineer will work on projects providing IPTV, Video on Demand and broadcasting to the whole UK.
The Devops engineer will deliver technical solutions through agile projects. The successful applicant will also provide third line support on fault investigations.

Required qualifications

Linux server or cloud server management skills
Docker
Puppet
Chef
Ansible
Elasticsearch

Nice to have

Would be nice to have a degree or Computer science background for this role.
