Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a high-performing school as a Development and Alumni Relations Officer, supporting fundraising, alumni engagement, events and communications in a varied, rewarding role.

Development and Alumni Relations Officer
Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 6RL

  • 36 hours per week, term time + 3 weeks
  • FTE £35,488 - £36,048 per annum (£31,968 to £33,414 pro rata)

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's school at a pivotal time, with a range of fundraising initiatives, community projects and alumni events planned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni with the wider school community
  • Plan, coordinate and support alumni events, communications and engagement activities
  • Maintain accurate alumni records and manage contact data effectively
  • Support fundraising, development and partnership initiatives across the school
  • Work collaboratively with staff across departments to deliver engagement projects
  • Contribute to communications that strengthen alumni and community relationships

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive and flexible approach to learning new tasks
  • Basic IT skills, including experience with databases or a willingness to learn
  • Confidence supporting events and working with a wide range of stakeholders
