Job Description

Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Design Manager- Timber Frame on behalf of our client based in Co.Carlow.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Timber Frame Designer or Design Team Lead to manage a small team and oversee design work through to production

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily workload of the timber frame design team, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Lead, support and develop designers, providing technical guidance when needed.

  • Review timber frame drawings to ensure accuracy and suitability for manufacturing.

  • Work closely with production and project teams to resolve design or technical issues.

  • Identify ways to improve design processes and team efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Timber Frame design.

  • Previous team lead or people management experience, ideally 2+ years.

  • Strong knowledge of timber frame design, technical drawings and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
