Design engineer in product development (m/f/d)

YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO THIS

• Holistic design and development, including consideration of all legal and production-relevant aspects
• Component and tool design, including the creation of all necessary manufacturing documentation
• Collaboration with designers and external engineering service providers
• Support and optimization of manufacturing processes
• Assistance with the design, simulation, and optimization of hydrodynamic, aerodynamic, and static properties
• Supervision of the prototype phase, including transition to efficient small-series production
• Research and selection of purchased components and suppliers

YOU CONVINCE

• A degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, naval architecture or similar - alternatively, training as a technical product designer
• Confident use of CATIA V5/6, especially in the area of freeform surfaces
• Good knowledge of MS Office and PLM systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Creativity, as well as a structured and independent working style
