Design Engineer

Gloucester

Up to £48,000 per annum

Full-time Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a growing and ambitious business in Gloucester. Ideally, you will have Solidworks experience.

This role involves producing high-quality CAD drawings and models for special purpose equipment, supporting projects from concept through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing GA drawings, P&ID schematics and production drawings
  • Creating BoMs and as-built documentation
  • Managing SolidWorks CAD tasks and parts libraries
  • Supporting engineering change requests and improvement projects
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams

About You

  • Experience designing mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • SolidWorks CAD experience essential
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
