The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and the construction team, ensuring that design deliverables are issued accurately and on schedule.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Design Coordinator to join a growing project delivery team working on large-scale critical building projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and the construction team, ensuring that design deliverables are issued accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
- Monitor design programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Review drawings and technical documentation for completeness and buildability.
- Identify design clashes and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the procurement and construction teams with technical information.
- Attend design coordination meetings and maintain accurate records of actions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations and quality standards.
- Assist with design change management and document control processes.
- Degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Design Coordinator or similar technical coordination role.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common construction management software.
- Experience with BIM/Revit would be advantageous.
