The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and the construction team, ensuring that design deliverables are issued accurately and on schedule.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and the construction team, ensuring that design deliverables are issued accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Monitor design programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Review drawings and technical documentation for completeness and buildability.
  • Identify design clashes and coordinate resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the procurement and construction teams with technical information.
  • Attend design coordination meetings and maintain accurate records of actions.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations and quality standards.
  • Assist with design change management and document control processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Design Coordinator or similar technical coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common construction management software.
  • Experience with BIM/Revit would be advantageous.
