Deputy Warehouse and Donation Centre Manager

We are in an exciting period of growth and transformation and are seeking a Deputy Warehouse and Donation Centre Manager to support the effective operation of Woodgreen's Warehouse and Donation Centre, ensuring the smooth processing, storage, and distribution of donated goods to our retail outlets.

Working closely with our Warehouse & Donation Centre Manager you will maintain high standards of operational efficiency, stock control, and customer service whilst supporting with directing employees, drivers and volunteers to deliver a safe, organised, and donor-focused environment.

You will;

  • Ensure continuity of service and adherence to the charity's operational and ethical standards.
  • Support with recruiting, inducting, and training employees and volunteers.
  • Ensure Retail Gift Aid is captured and recorded accurately to increase income.
  • Support daily supervision of the Warehouse and Fleet teams, ensuring operational priorities are met.
  • Support efficient planning of delivery and collection routes.
  • Promote a safe working environment, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Support audits and ensure warehouse areas remain compliant with policies and procedures.

If you have experience of working in a warehouse, logistics, or charity retail environment with a developed knowledge of stock handling, sorting, and allocation processes then we would love to hear from you!

This is a full time, permanent position with a salary of £25,553 per annum. The working pattern for this role is 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Saturday with the expectation that alternate Saturdays will be worked.
