Job Description
Micarna is the leading producer of meat, fish, and poultry in Switzerland. As part of the Migros Group, we focus on quality, sustainability, and safety, and we are looking for you as a motivated Deputy Team Leader in the Salting Department. Your role:You will take on a professional leadership role and supervise a manageable number of employees with similar functions. You will independently implement the department's tasks according to the received instructions. You will ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. You will take on simple management tasks and actively contribute your broad knowledge of the products. You will assemble and produce finished products in the charcuterie production. You will operate machines and be responsible for their setup, maintenance, and preparation work. You will work as a substitute and independently complete necessary technical tasks.What you bring:Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ) (e.g., meat specialist or food technologist). Work experience: You have solid practical and implementation knowledge in a similar field (e.g., products, equipment operation, hygiene and safety regulations). You show openness to changes and bring skills with you. You are physically resilient and willing to work in a noisy and drafty environment. You have practical experience in meat processing and are versatile. You are willing to take on irregular working hours and shift work.
