This is an exciting opportunity for career progression and development in a respected GP Practice within a supportive and highly regarded Partnership.
We are looking for a motivated and capable deputy site manager to support the site manager in managing the day to day operation at Stourport Medical Centre.
Stourport Medical Centre is part of the Wyre Forest Health Partnership, a group of five Primary Care Practices working together to deliver Primary Care in the Wyre Forest Area.
Main duties of the job- Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the smoothday-to-day functioning of the site and to provide leadership and guidance tothe administrative and support staff.
- Lead the site when the Site Manager is absent.
- Work closely with the management team. Stourport Medical Centre has two deputy managers, one site manager and a GP Partner Lead, the successful applicant will work closely with the management team.
Act as a point of contact for patients, families, and carers raising concerns or complaints including supporting early resolution of concerns to improve patient experience. Where necessary liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams to resolve concerns in a timely manner.
- Key responsibilities will include a focus on GP rota's and access planning and working closely with the team of 19 salaried and partner GP's.
- To deliver day to day employee management activitiesas required or delegated by the site manager.
- To support the site manager in deliveringthe profitability of the site, driving great results and performance to anoutstanding standard.

WFHP has been operating since December 2014 as a single Partnership, operating out of 5 surgeries. We operate at scale and are at the forefront of primary care delivery in how we organise ourselves, having management and leverage for a large number of primary care employees (300 employees including 50 GP's). We also look after patients. We have a very strong quality improvement ethic, and are always looking to improve.

- Manage clinicians withinmulti-disciplinary and matrixteams to achieve and deliver clinical outcomes, in line with business needs,WFHP Policies and healthcare guidance.
- Directly manage the operation of the site in the absence of theSite Manager, including all non-clinical employees, site workflow andorganisation, ensuring a safe, efficient and effective operation.
- Management and Leadership - Support the Site Manager in managingthe Employee Lifecycle as required or delegated by the site manager. Including,where appropriate, employee appraisals or sickness absence meetings.
- Commerciality - Assist the site manager in delivering site finances, monitor and manage direct costs and understand site finances and business next steps. Work with the site manager to identifycost savings and revenue growth.
- Patient Services - Collaborate with the site manager to delivereffective, efficient patient care. Handle patient complaints effectively,seeking resolution and maintaining patient satisfaction.
- Previous experience managing others
- Good IT Skills
- Previous Experience working in Primary Care
- Educated to A level standard
- Experience working with rotas, scheduling or workforce planning.
