Job Description

Role: Deputy Nursing Home Manager
Location: Norfolk
Salary: £52,000 - £55,000

Are you a passionate and experienced Nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership journey? We're currently recruiting for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join a large, well-established care home in Norfolk, specialising in elderly, dementia, and nursing care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinical leader who's ready to make a real impact-supporting a high-performing team, driving quality care standards, and playing a vital role in the home's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of care pathways across residential, nursing, and dementia services
  • Support the commissioning of specialist services when needed
  • Drive quality standards through audits, safeguarding investigations, and follow-up action planning
  • Oversee care planning and risk assessments to ensure compliance and person-centred care
  • Confidently deputise for the Registered Manager and ensure regulatory compliance (CQC, H&S, COSHH, etc.)
  • Maintain safe staffing levels aligned to occupancy and care needs
  • Manage staff performance, absence, and promote team wellbeing initiatives
What We're Looking For:
  • NMC Registered Nurse - Adult or Mental Health
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing within a care home environment
  • Skilled in clinical oversight, safeguarding, and quality assurance
  • Level 4 Leadership qualification (or a willingness to work towards it)
