Deputy Manager

Nest Embassy Gardens is our newest nursery, in Nine Elms, SW11, for children from 6 months to 5 years. We're looking for a Deputy Manager to work alongside the Nursery Manager, lead the team day to day and help shape a nursery that is still finding its rhythm.

What you'll do

• Support the Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery, including rotas, ratios and room deployment
• Lead and coach practitioners and room leaders, including supervisions and appraisals
• Keep standards high across EYFS practice, safeguarding and health and safety
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents
• Deputise for the Manager, including supporting safeguarding as a deputy DSL

What we're looking for

• A full and relevant Level 3 early years qualification or higher
• Ideally 2 years' experience as a Deputy Manager and 5 years in nursery settings
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted expectations
• DSL-level safeguarding training, or willingness to complete it
