Title: Deputy Manager

Location: Bradford (BD9)

Salary: £36,600 per annum (based on 160 hours per month, excluding sleeps)

Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 160 hours per month

Employment Type: Permanent

Sleep-ins: Paid at £45 per sleep

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: Young people aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce

Experience Required: Experience within a children's residential setting

About The Home

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of a children's residential home. You will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.

You will be confident in working with young people who present with EBD, able to manage challenging behaviours, and committed to achieving positive outcomes. Leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role is essential.

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).
  • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
  • You require sponsorship - no sponsorship available.
  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
