This is a fixed-term role to cover maternity leave.

How you'll make a difference as Deputy Manager

• Assist the manager with all areas of running the nursery, ensuring day to day operations run smoothly.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families and collaborate with outside agencies to support each child's growth and wellbeing.
• Guide and support the nursery team, keep children safe and bring the EYFS to life in a fun, engaging way that meets all requirements.

What a Deputy Manager needs

• Level 3 or higher UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
• Leadership experience within a nursery setting.

An enhanced DBS check and a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate are mandatory. All staff must complete safeguarding training.
