Deputy Head of Compliance

As a Deputy Head of Compliance, the successful candidate will work closely with and deputize for the Head of Compliance, driving the achievement of various compliance deliverables, participating in governance forums and project working groups as applicable.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate to be appointed as MLCO & MLRO for BHCML & BHIPL, with direct accountability to the boards of regulated entities and the JFSC regulator for AML/CTF/CPF and Sanctions-related matters.

The responsibilities include facilitating the Compliance team's management of relationships with the JFSC, other regulators, and auditors for both fund and firm financial statements. The candidate will also develop, critique, and maintain compliance monitoring systems and controls, including policies and procedures, in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
