Job Title: Deputy Care Manager
Location: Romford
Salary: £32,000
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy Care Manager to join our team, focusing on supported living services for individuals with learning disabilities (LD) and mental health needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Care Manager to oversee and enhance the quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a supportive and positive environment for both staff and service users.
Responsibilities- Assist in the day-to-day management of supported living services, ensuring high standards of care and support.
- Support the Care Manager in developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of service users.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and independence of service users.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
- Assist in budget management and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
- Proven experience in supported living services, specifically with learning disabilities and mental health.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in care provision.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification essential
