Deputy Care Manager (Home Care) - Farnham

Farnham, Surrey
Up to £29,000 per year (DOE)
Full-time - 37 hours per week
Permanent Immediate start available

We are recruiting a Deputy Care Manager to support the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care (home care) services to elderly and vulnerable adults in Farnham, Fleet and Farnborough

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, well-established care provider with clear progression to Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities - Deputy Care Manager
  • Support the Registered Care Manager in the daily running of the domiciliary care service
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and work towards Good/Outstanding ratings
  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of Care Assistants / Care Workers
  • Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance reviews
  • Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and service performance
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of care staff
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Provide hands on care support when required
Requirements - Deputy Care Manager

Essential:

  • Experience in domiciliary care / home care
  • Previous role as Senior Carer, Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, or Deputy Manager
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Good IT skills (Google Drive / care systems)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
