For the Transport FTL department of our branch in London (UK), we are looking for a
Department Manager Transport
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with customers and transport suppliers, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency
- Oversee the Transport Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and performance targets are met
- Coordinate and lead the transport team, supporting productivity and operational excellence
- Monitor service quality, operational KPIs, and cost efficiency within the department
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, preferably with a freight forwarder specialising in road transport
- Strong knowledge of road freight operations and transport planning
- Experience in team coordination and operational management
- Strong results-oriented mindset
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Strong organizational and workload management skills
- Leadership and team management capabilities
