About the Role

Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a dentist role in Co. Mayo. This practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join their dental practice, which follows an integrative approach to dental health and is committed to mercury- and metal-free dentistry. Their philosophy focuses on the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing, using non-toxic materials and evidence-informed, minimally invasive care. This role is ideal for a dentist who values whole-person care, patient education, and working within a modern practice that prioritises long-term health outcomes and informed patient choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive general dental care within an integrative, mercury- and metal-free treatment model

  • Diagnose and manage oral health conditions using non-toxic restorative materials

  • Deliver preventative and conservative treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

  • Educate patients on oral-systemic health connections, treatment options, and preventative strategies

  • Maintain accurate, ethical, and compliant clinical records

  • Collaborate closely with hygienists, dental nurses, and the wider care team

  • Uphold high standards of infection prevention and clinical governance

  • Comply with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements of the Dental Council of Ireland
