Main duties of the job

You will work within our Urgent Unscheduled Dental Service clinics on weekends and Bank Holidays, depending on your preference. Clinics are located in Barnstaple, Exeter, Plymouth, Newton Abbot, Dorchester, and Boscombe.

Access Dental is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing urgent dental care to Devon's population of over a million residents for more than fifteen years and in Dorset since 2017.

Rates:

• Saturdays and Sundays: £80 per hour
• Bank Holiday weekends (all days): £100 per hour
• Christmas Day: £120 per hour

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- Dental registration with the GDC
- Completed Foundation Training
- Must have English Performer Number
- Up-to-date on mandatory and recommended dental training
- Experience practicing independently in UC settings
- Experience working within various NHS dental environments
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to quickly develop rapport
- Professional attitude and flexibility
- Maintain composure in stressful situations
- Manage workload and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding

Postgraduate skills and qualifications, understanding of the wider dental system.

• GDC-registered dentist
