Are you a detail-oriented payroll or finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? Riverdale Healthcare is seeking a Dental Pay Manager (Payroll) to join our dynamic Finance team and take ownership of payroll operations for our group of self-employed clinicians.
The Role
As tempoary Dental Pay Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of pay for our clinicians. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll help refine processes, support onboarding, and work closely with teams across Finance, HR, and Clinical Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with payroll or finance experience looking to broaden their impact in a healthcare setting.
The role is temporary up to 6 months with the potential of it going permenant in the future.
No prior dental experience? No problem. We'll provide full training to help you grow into the role.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing end-to-end payroll for self-employed dentists (NHS & private).
Ensuring timely submission of data, including hours, bonuses, and deductions.
Administering the NHS pension scheme and ensuring legislative compliance.
Handling dentist pay queries and supporting clinician onboarding.
Collaborating with our system development team (Caragon) to improve automation and reporting.
Preparing monthly financial and KPI reports for leadership.
Supporting HR and Clinical teams with data and compliance tasks.
Assisting with audits and maintaining payroll records in line with GDPR.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll or finance (healthcare experience a plus)
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Xero
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Detail-focused and organised with a proactive mindset
Experience with Caragon or HR/payroll systems is desirable
