Democratic and Corporate Services Manager (LAE008)

Grade SM2: £57,121 - £60,295 per annum (pay award pending)

Permanent, 37 hours per week

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced leader to join our established and supportive Democratic and Corporate Shared Services, working across Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils.

The postholder will provide leadership and support across the corporate support functions, with a particular focus on leading and delivering the efficient running of electoral and democratic decision making processes.

About you

You will be:

  • An experienced leader with good working knowledge of the rules relating to statutory electoral and democratic decision making procedures
  • Confident operating in a public sector or similarly complex environment
  • Collaborative, professional and committed to delivering high quality corporate services/advice
