Job Description

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:


Demand planner:

  • Central and strategic role that sits at the intersection of supply chain management, sales, and business analytics.
  • To be the cornerstone of the logistic optimization: supply, inventory, distribution
  • Drive the demand and inventory levels: forecasting customer demand to predict sales trends and take inventory decisions.
  • Develop/propose demand forecast accuracy reporting and monthly monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate demand volumes that drive production and material planning processes.
  • Organize demand management review monthly.


Network planner:

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation and delivery.
  • Manage cross-country inventory levels, review upcoming out of stocks and or obsolete risks.
  • Propose cost-reduction strategies (reduction of stocking points, ) after alignment with the Key Principal Manager.
  • Implement and coordinate S&OP for key principals at regional level.
  • Execute the purchase of distribution products.
  • Align and coordinate with local Inventory Managers the expedition of distribution products & cross company transport orders.


People Management:

  • Coordinate and manage the country inventory teams through working together on the processes and common objectives.
  • Coordinate and monitor central network planner performance during stock centralization for key principals.
  • Managing internal & external stakeholder relations.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:

  • Master degree (transport/logistic or commercial mgt) or equivalent depending on experience. APICS certification an additional asset.
  • Course on Supply Chain and/or Sales and Operations planning is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory, warehousing and planning in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and skills

  • Experience using SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business processes and organization.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of both oral and written English language are required. Any additional language is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel
