Job Description

Delivery Driver Keighley £12.80 per hour
Permanent 41.5 hours per week Immediate start available

We are looking for a friendly and personable Delivery Driver to join a well established business based in Keighley. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers and taking pride in delivering high quality hardwood products safely and professionally. If you are reliable, physically fit and take customer service seriously, this could be a great fit.

THE ROLE

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering hardwood products to customers locally and further afield. You will be the face of the business, so a professional and friendly approach is essential.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver hardwood products to customers across the local area and beyond
  • Manual handling and unloading packs of timber
  • Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
  • Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
  • Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle
  • Assist in the factory once deliveries are complete
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • 41.5 hours per week
  • Flexibility required when deliveries overrun; overnight stays likely every 1-2 weeks
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Permanent position
ABOUT YOU
  • Friendly and personable with strong customer service skills
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Reliable and organised
  • Flexible with occasional overnight stays
  • Team player and happy to help in the factory
ESSENTIAL
  • Clean driving licence
DESIRABLE
  • Forklift licence (not essential)
