DBS01139/26 - Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant - Marine Park First School

The Governors of our successful, large, friendly and happy First School invite applications for the post of Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant. Marine Park First School is a purpose-built PFI school located on an extensive and attractive coastal site in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. We are the largest First School in North Tyneside, currently serving up to 520 pupils from a wide catchment area.

We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to work as part of our team and contribute to the exceptional education, safety, welfare, wellbeing, happiness and behaviour that we strive to achieve for the pupils at our school. Duties will include the supervision of our pupils in the dining hall and playground areas. You may also be required to support individual pupils and small groups during the lunchtime period. You will be required to work collaboratively with a positive staff team, a supportive governing body and, above all, engaging children.

The post will commence as soon as possible.

Likely work pattern for the successful candidate(s):

• 6.25 Hours per week (hpw) (12.10-1.25 p.m. 5 days per week), term time only

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will need to have two fully supportive references from current employers/placements.
