Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the foreman must work jointly with the foremen in place to organize, supervise and control activities with a view to achieving the objectives of the production department in accordance with general directives, while ensuring sound use of the resources made available to him.

THE ROLE:

• Manage the operations and personnel of your team jointly with the foremen in place to ensure efficiency in the production department;
• Update and maintain the efficiency and productivity indicators of the production department on a daily basis;
• Participate and lead daily and/or weekly production meetings with the teams in charge of operations and those on the floor (DMS1-DMS2);
• Contribute to maintaining and mobilizing staff while ensuring a good working climate;
• Apply and enforce the safety policies and standards in place (Ergonomics, wearing PPE, load handling, lockout, WHMIS, etc.) as well as hygiene, quality and health standards.

PROFILE:

• 3 to 5 years in a similar position.
• Have good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Have critical, analytical and leadership skills;
• Be concerned about health and safety at work and Quality;
