Day Centre Support Worker, Belfast

We are currently recruiting Day Centre Support Workers across Belfast, supporting service users with complex needs in a welcoming and supportive day centre environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare workers seeking consistent weekday hours, with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts around their regular day centre schedule.

Job Details

• Location: Belfast

• Working Hours: Monday-Friday, either 9am-3pm or 9am-4pm

• Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

• Additional Shifts: Opportunities to pick up extra shifts to suit your availability

What Does the Role Involve?

• Encourage and promote service user involvement through activities and participation in day centre services.

• Assist with the safe transportation of service users to and from the day centre.

• Provide personal care and feeding assistance where required.

• Support service users with complex needs, promoting their comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 6 months' paid experience in a healthcare setting in Northern Ireland or mainland UK.

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.

• NISCC registered or willing to apply for registration.

• Willingness to complete an AccessNI check.
