As a Data Warehouse Developer, you'll play a crucial role in helping NHG unlock the value of data. You'll be part of a team delivering high-quality data solutions that inform decision-making, improve services, and ultimately make a difference for our residents. Using the Microsoft data platform and tools within Azure, you'll work across the organisation to design, build, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions that are accurate, reliable, and impactful.
How you'll make a difference
You'll drive a culture of data confidence across NHG by delivering trustworthy and accessible data products. Working closely with technical and non-technical colleagues, you'll ensure the right data is available in the right format, at the right time. Your analytical mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail will help us use data to improve the way we work and the services we provide.
How you'll do it
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful data products.
- Cleanse, transform, and prepare data for reporting, analysis, and visualisation.
- Use tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create clear, accessible dashboards and reports.
- Monitor data pipelines and ETL processes, resolving any issues to maintain data quality and uptime.
- Apply a rigorous testing approach to minimise errors and improve trust in data.
- Support the resolution of second-line incidents and service requests through the service desk, ensuring timely responses in line with SLAs.
- Produce clear documentation, including Requests for Change for the Change Advisory Board (CAB), where required.
- Work in a cross-functional team, contributing to experiments and iterative delivery in an agile environment.
- Help build data literacy and engagement across the organisation.
