Data Scientist

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as Data Scientist!

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to retail-specific use cases such as:
• Customer segmentation
• Next Best Product (NBP) recommendation systems
• High-resolution demand forecasting
• Warehouse route and picking time optimization
• Computer vision models (e.g., shelf scanning, footfall tracking)
• AI agent development for customer service and internal automation
• Translate business needs into data science problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data engineering, and domain experts to drive project success.
• Ensure model robustness, scalability, and explainability, including monitoring model performance post-deployment.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to establishing best practices in modeling and experimentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in applied machine learning and statistical modeling.
• Proven track record in retail-focused data science projects-preferably including segmentation, recommendation engines, inventory optimization, or computer vision applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.)
• ML Ops practices and frameworks
• SQL and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience with deploying models in production environments.
• Familiarity with CV techniques like object detection, pose estimation, or image classification is a plus.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning or generative AI methods is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex models and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
